Back to TopQ:Why do I need to add my references?A:References are required from all staff as a pre - condition of employment. The purpose of contacting your references is confirmation of the information that has been provided on your resume and as well as the interview has been confirmed. It is also to determine if your skill sets and qualifications match the position PLASP is hiring for.Back to TopQ:Who can I use as a reference?A:You must use your current Manager as one of your references for internal applications. The other reference can be a previous direct Supervisor/ Team Leader /Mentor. We can accept a Supervisor reference and a Colleague reference, but our preference is two Supervisor References whenever possible.

You may use Placement Experience references if you are a recent graduate of a program in a field related to the position you are applying to.

Ensure at least one of your references is related to your professional working/placement experience with children (Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Work/Care, or other related field etc.)
