
REVENUE SUPERVISOR - Accounts Receivable Team
PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates programs in more than 240 schools providing before and after school care. PLASP also operates over 38 full-day early learning and child care centres and six EarlyON locations for children from 0 – 6 years.

Reporting to the Controller, the Revenue Supervisor will provide supervision and guidance to the Accounts Receivable team within PLASP’s Accounting Department as it relates to PLASP fees, subsidy and collections.
THE POSITION INVOLVES…
The successful candidate will provide a full range of duties, including:
- Providing leadership, direction, and support to the Accounts Receivable Team
- Maintaining CRM information, including fees, setting up pay schedules, discounts, and component codes
- Supervising and processing PLASP family payment and credit runs, while managing the collection of outstanding payments from parents
- Processing billing runs, verifying credit adjustments, supervising payment reconciliations, and approving month-end receivables reports
- Managing complex subsidy issues by coordinating with various government agencies and parents, while staying up to date on changes
- Validating CWELCC attendance, reconciling enrollments, submitting logs, and working with consultants to resolve past due payments from families
- Approving Bad Debt Write-offs
- Assisting the Controller with Special Projects
THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE WILL HAVE…
- A College diploma/ degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting
- CPA designation is preferred
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong supervisory skills and ability to effectively lead a team remotely
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft CRM and NAV software is preferred
- Self-motivated, flexible and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word
