Take Our Kids to Work Day – Program/Office

Take Our Kids to Work Day is an annual career exploration event, held every November, where Grade 9 students across Canada spend the day in the life of a working professional.

 

The Position Requires

• You must be a current Secondary School student (grade 9)
• You must have a family member or friend that works for PLASP to spend the day with
• You are caring, energetic and work well with others
• You are flexible and willing to learn
• You show initiative by helping without being asked

Key Responsibilities

• Take direction from the staff you are shadowing
• Participate in learning opportunities in administrative tasks/leading activities with the children
• Ask questions to learn more about the office/program environment
