VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT IN PLASP SUMMER HOLIDAY PROGRAMS

 

PLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care, for children up to 12 years of age. 

 

The Position Requires:

• You must be a current secondary school student
• You must submit immunization record completed by your physician
• You must be respectful and enjoy interacting with children
• You must be caring and energetic and work well with children and staff
• You are engaged by doing activities with the children and program staff
• Family cannot volunteer with family in the same location, you will need to choose another location

Key Responsibilities:

• Always take direction from program staff and get familiar with program procedures 
• Help program staff with the children
• Act as a mentor, leader, and a role model
• Talk to and play with all the children
• Participate in all aspects of the program indoor/outdoor
• Ask the program staff questions if you are unsure of what to do or say

Positions Available: Limited 

 

Volunteering term is between July 7^th 2025 to August 15^th 2025 

(Closed for Civic Holiday Monday, August 4th)

 

Days: up to 5 days a week

 

Hours: up to 4 hours a day
